Anxiety help that just focuses on one part of the picture - either just your mind, or just your spirit, and that fails to incorporate the body - leaves a significant blind spot...
When one area of your whole person is neglected in the big picture of mental, emotional, and spiritual health, something is missing...
Most of us have been taught and understand that there are consistent disciplines that create physical health, and consistent disciplines that create spiritual health…
But very often the soul - our thoughts, our feelings, and our decisions - is neglected
Think about how we approach physical health - most of us know and accept that consistent habits for healthy eating and exercising are essential to physical fitness...
In general, we would never tell someone struggling with their weight that they just need to pray more, that if they just had more faith they wouldn’t have this problem...
Yet when it comes to mental and emotional health Christians get this message a lot -
if you just had more faith you wouldn’t have this problem...
There is shockingly little teaching of basic mental health skills, nearly no instruction about principles of having a healthy mind and emotionally healthy life...
Even though the Bible is filled with instruction, stories, and role models that guide Christians in practical habits they can use constistently to tend to their mind and emotions.
When we know what to do to stop anxiety, we can do it
When we know how our body, spirit, and soul work together for whole person health...
When we learn to understand, care for, and develop our souls - our emotions, our thoughts, and our decisions - so that it aligns with our spirit, we can gain control of anxiety...
And once we control our anxiety instead of it controlling us, we can…

Hi, I'm Celia
I've been a mental health professional for 25 years, specializing in psychotherapy for the treatment of anxiety and trauma. Over the decades working as a licensed mental health professional, I’ve seen that so many of my anxious clients do not need therapy, they need solid outside perspective and coaching to understand the cause of their anxiety and learn the skills that work for them to overcome it.
I help Christians who are struggling with fear and anxiety in spite of their faith identify their blind spots in the mind/body/spirit connection, and then master 6 simple and specific skills from a faith based, whole person perspective to stop anxiety in its tracks.
